Britain blacklists Ruto polls fund boss David Muge


The British government has blacklisted William Ruto’s chief campaign fundraiser David Muge.

For years, Muge was working in Britain. His wife has been abandoned by the doctor in UK and has remarried back here at home. Muge had properties in UK but is now facing investigations on matters relating to money laundering that is suspected to be part of fundraising for Ruto 2022 presidential bid.

Anti-money laundering and fraud laws are strict in UK. It may be committed by merely the possession of property and the suspicion it represents proceeds from crimes such as kickbacks in tender awards.

Muge is being investigated in the controversial deal between Zakhem and Kenya Pipeline. Being in charge of Ruto fundraising, Muge was instrumental in the multibillion corruption scandals that rocked KPC.

When tycoon David Langat won the multimillion laptops supply tenders to primary schools, Muga was not comfortable and wanted to have a firm that will donate millions to Ruto 2022 campaign. To make a kill, Langat firm was denied the tender in favour Portuguese businessmen.

With the help of local investigators, FBI has established, Muge owns a palatial home in Karen just like Ruto’s other aide Farouk Kibet. The two were bought the residences by directors of Zakhem. Dr Muge residence is now occupied by her new catch wife.

Weekly Citizen has information, state security operatives have been stationed at Kenya Re Towers in Upper Hill to take roll calls of top government officials, parastatal bosses, Chinese and local businessmen that visit Muge office located at the building to cut mega deals. One local tycoon, Isaac Gitau associated with Tai Enterprises is a regular visitor. Gitau is being investigated on how Talai won multiillions state tenders with Dr Muge backing.

Talai has done business with Tullow Oil company and paid that landed in accounts of Turkana governor Josphat Nanok and Ikolomani mp Ben Shinali. The Tullow oil sh 45 million kickback to Nanok was behind his defection from ODM to support Ruto 2022. Sources say,Gitau was used in the defection strategy.

It is said, before president Uhuru Kenyatta moved to cut Ruto coordination powers in cabinet, Muge office was where tenders were awarded and kickbacks agreed.

Muge is being investigated as to if he owns Trident Heights, two-block apartments managed by Netai Ltd. The firm is registered under his new wife Nancy Tai. He also runs Great Rift Coffee.

Muge is a holder of UK citizenship. Weekly Citizen last year reported Muge large scale transactions corruption cash from European capitals to Kenya. The main masterminds being Giles Fearn (CEO, Petredec), and Mike Abbott (CFO, Petredec)

David Petredec and Clifton setup a company in Kenya (Mansa East Africa Ltd) pretending to undertake a gas project in Mombasa. This corrupt partnership has assisted in the transfer of corrupt monies from kickbacks including from bankrupted CMC Di Ravenna of Italy for Itare, Kimwarer and Arrror Dams that Clifton via Muge secured for William Ruto in Italy.
