Trans-Nzoia governor hitmen have allegedly threatened the life of the County Workers Union chairman Samuel Kiboi over the allegation that he accused their boss Patrick Khaemba.
Kiboi who spoke to media in Eldoret after reporting to the Kitale Police Station on October 1 2019 he was pulled out as he was just entering in one of the offices in the county headquarter as usual when Khaemba’s goons led by Silas Omanyo and one Masinde who are in contract attacked and pulled him as they threatened to deal with him properly according to the video that was taken by a good samaritan through the window of county offices.
Kiboi said Omanyo said he will teach him a lesson which refers to killing. He added that in case anything will happen to him, Governor Khaemba and his goons led by Omanyo are responsible. Omanyo is the head of Khaemba’s goons who replaced the late Ramah who used to behave like him.
“I have never accused my governor Patrick Khaemba, but I normally correct his mess. Let him do the right thing to the locals including employment issues for locals to be considered and not people from Bungoma,’’ said Kiboi
A police officer said they received complaints and recorded in the Occurrence Book number 46 with a video clip.
Human rights activist Kefa Were said union officials should not be discriminated when they fight for rights of workers.
Kefa who has been on Khaemba’s neck over the stalled white elephant project that is includes referral hospital since 2013/2014 financial year and modern stage was once threatened. People who have been threatened by the same Khaemba administrations include the recent one being Ferdinand Wanyisia and Ken Wekesa.
