The senate health committee has put Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago on notice over the poor state of the health sector in his county. Locals are also bitter that Mandago of late has abandoned them after winning a second term and is just planning his retirement strategy.
The senate plans to summon Mandago to explain the ailing county health sector.
The senate committee chaired by Michael Mbito of Trans Nzoia says the governor is not committed to transform the lives of the residents of the region.
