Tension is still high in Ol-Pusimoru on the border of Narok and Nakuru counties whose cause is said to be local politics that is creating animosity among the locals.
Recently, a house of former area MCA Wilson Masikonde was torched by youths who were said to have been sponsored by his political rival.
Addressing the media, residents called for the government to ensure there is peace in the region.
Masikonde has openly claimed that the current MCA, Wilfred Kuyo, paid goons to destroy his property.
Ever since Masikonde filed an election petition in the High Court challenging the election of Kuyo, things have not been the same. To complicate matters is when the High Court nullified Kuyo’s win forcing him to move to the Court of Appeal.
