The DP William Ruto has shocked many Netizens when he couldnt take the mounting pressure any more from a section of Jubilee party members who have been calling for his resignation and took to social media stating that Jubilee belongs to Uhuru.
This is the first time the DP has bowed to such pressure after two factions emerged in the rulling Jubilee party namely Tanga Tanga and Kieleweke.
The irate Ruto went ahead to blame the ODM leader Raila Odinga for being the sole cause of the fallout within the Ruling party after the much publicised handshake.
He went further to term Raila as a dictator, a man full of chaos and violence who never accepts defeat.
However the DP was quick to add a soft message promising to stand by Uhuru and the party.
“Waheshimiwa, the real SABOTEUR is your master the people’s conman who uses deceit to divide/destroy parties even UHURU’s Jubilee;the master of chaos who factors violence in election equations;the one who never accepts defeat. We’ll stand with UHURU&Jubilee against such dictators,” said Ruto
Among Raila’s brigade to react immediately was Junet Mohammed who took to social media saying, “A day after Raila is declared winner, you’ll wake up and if lucky to find a media microphone before you, you’ll still tell him to “accept defeat”. See, almost a week after Kibra election you’re still telling him to “accept defeat”. You’re not even AWARE he WON, and that you LOST”
Its in the public domain that the DP is a bitter man following the shift in allegiance by a section of leaders who were once allied to ODM’s leader Raila Odinga and even went aheadto campaign for his ODM candidate Imran Okoth who whitewashed Ruto’s man Macdonald Mariga.
Among the leaders who shifted support Raila during the do or die Kibra by-election include Governor Anne Waiguru, Kivutha Kibwana and Alfred Mutua.
